We loved Harry Potter. It was looong though. The theatre was packed, there were so many kids, people in costume. The energy was happy and sweet, everyone was smiling and being kind. Whatever can bring people together like that has got to be good. I love Alan Rickman and he was good but I want to see him in serious leading roles, it seems like he is so often consigned to these sort of bad guy character parts. He's such a fine actor, one of my favorite movies is Truly Madly Deeply, mainly because of him, and well, I love the story line. If you're in the mood for a funny sweet little English movie about love, death and music then you should rent it. Especially <"http://www.livejournal.com/users/theolive">Jen</a> if you haven't seen it, because it features a cello.
I know some people are boycotting Fat Hal but we're going to go see it anyway today. Then I'll be able to critique it properly. Beau wants me to buy him some Crazy Bones at The Puzzle Zoo nearby.
