Chalkboard

(no subject)

I'm putting up some pictures again and wanted to share some of them with you. I'm using this really stupid simple editor so they automatically format the photos at this small size, but it's good enough for now. I'd rather do anything imperfectly than procrastinate any longer.

Here's my son Beau in Mexico with his favorite toy, his talking Pets.com sock puppet. He won't go anywhere without it, and even bought a second one as a backup, in case anything happens to this one. You should have seen him, he was so funny, he made it talk to people, and wear his sombrero. That's a little purple drink umbrella it's holding. I've memorized everything it says, I've heard it so often, "I'm a happy puppet thing." Poor Pets.com.

On our way home we went to the San Diego Zoo. It was raining so hard, we had the whole place to ourselves.

We took a lot of pictures of the goats for Brad.

I have more Mexico pictures but they're stored on another chip so I'll have to put them up later.

This is my wonderful Sparkle. he is an Oriental Shorthair. He and his brother are definitely a duo, they do pretty much everything together and are such bundles of love joy energy. I adore them both. I almost didn't adopt Sparkle because I just wanted twinkle but the breeder made me take him, she thought they were really dependant on each other and shouldn't be separated. She was so right and Sparkle has turned out to be one of the best cats I've ever had. I love him so much. He fetches the plastic wrapper that comes around the Snapple bottle cap. I save them for him. He wants to play fetch all night long and when I wake up in the morning I find these little pieces of plastic in my hands because he put them there in the night, hoping I'd throw them for him.

Here he is again on top of the satellite box.

here is Mini Harina on my nightstand. She's standing on my Cd clock radio. It's so hard to get a still picture of her because she's such a bundle of energy. She's half Sphynx and half Cornish Rex. The kids named her Mini Harina because she looks so much like our cat Harry. All of these kittens looked like their parents and aunts and uncles so they all got names that begin with Mini.

Here are Twinkle and Sparkle together on my bed in the morning, yup that's a bit of my thigh, woo, woo.

Here is Twinkle by himself. Isn't he a cutie? I wish the light had been better so you can see his unbelievably beautiful blue eyes. They're so blue, it's amazing.

Here is our baby, Princess Lucilla. Beau and Esther named her. Beau came up with the princess part because Gia, her original people Mom, had called her, her little princess. The Lucilla part came from Esther, I don't know why. I think she deserves a groovier name but I'm getting used to it. She's really sweet and fun, she has so much energy. I'm a little worried about her eyes though because it looks like she's catching the weird kitty eye thing we have here. I wish I could wipe the damn thing out, it's pretty hardy and is either a herpes virus or chlamydia.

Here is a picture of my Cornish Rex gang waking up from a nap. They are known for being really clannish and they like to pile on top of each other. That's Lee Lu in the front, then Harry and Alla behind her, and her brother Mouse is in the background. They're all squishing Baby Angel who isn't Cornish but Sphynx, and insists on sleeping with them even though they swat her, and you can just see Kit Kat sneaking into the frame, he's Alla's little boy but doesn't look anything like her.

I have so many pictures I want to share with you but in the interest of helping out the folks with modems, I'll stop here.

Love you guys,
Jacqui
