I just saw the movie Songcatcher. I hadn't seen it when it came out. I liked it so much I bought the DVD and both of the albums. I really liked this movie and the music was so beautiful. I love folk and bluegrass music. It's so moving.

I've been kind of under the weather. I guess it's part of adapting to my new way of being, maybe losing a lot of weight is taxing and my body needs down time to catch up. I don't know, but I've been feeling kind of tired and weak, and my fibromyalgia is acting up. I try to get enough sleep but the TV is full of wonderful movies I've never seen and it's so hard to resist.

I've been reading Carnie Wilson's new book, which is a lot of fun. It's like having a buddy to share some of this with because I haven't been able to find the kind of support group I'm needing, a weekly group that's small and super honest, as opposed to a big organized sell the surgery sort of thing.

Ooope there goes my stomach. Gotta run darn it.

OMG I just spoke to my guy Scott's father and he said that when Scott was younger they had his IQ tested and he had an IQ of 212! I would be so thrilled if someone told me I had an IQ that high. Mine's high but not that high. Why that's higher than Sharon Stone's ; )

Poor Scott's daddy, he wants so badly to help Scott but he says he feels like he's on the outside looking in. Oh blah, whatever, life... I feel pretty blechy today. I'm going to go back to lie down. I just had to shout that out about how smart my Scotty is. I told him that's why he's so bedevilling in an argument. His mind is so facile he slips away from my reasonable grasp.

Love you guys,
Jacqui
