My cat Ala isn't doing very well. She's a Cornish Rex with a heart murmur. She comes from that batch of sickly kitties I got from the woman in San Diego with the serious drug problem. Her father and grandfather are the nicest cats in the world, I have them too. Her dad Niki is my favorite cat.
I love her so much. She's this skinny, bitchy, hormonal little person, and she is so dear to me. The vet will be here soon, but I'm really worried, she looks so thin and isn't eating or drinking much. Her teeth need cleaning but we can't anaesthetize her with her having this heart murmur. Now I wish we had just taken the risk when she was stronger. I think she isn't eating because her mouth hurts. I sat with her last night, for a long while by the sink, cupping my hands and getting her to drink the running water. I made it lukewarm so it wouldn't bother her mouth.
Will you guys think good thoughts for my little friend Ala, please? It worked once before when you prayed for one of my kitties.
I forgot I had this picture of the kittens. Aren't they cute? They're much bigger now, and of course one of them has a broken tail, waaaaaaaaa.
