This is my favorite postcard of all time. I wish I had a better, bigger version of it to share with you, but this is all I've got for now. It's by Schmucker and I always put it up around this time of year. It was the first expensive postcard I ever bought.

Hey, what the heck is George Noori playing for bumper music here? It sounds sooo spooky. I bet its just Tibetan monks chanting. Why does this scare me so much? Maybe it's been used in spooky film scores so I have a negative connotation associated with these sounds. I actually have this belief that when I really want something to go a certain way, if I make an ahhh sound using a certain very low note, that it has this power that will help. It always works, especially for physical healing. I learned about it from Deepak Chopra and it's just this basic Tibetan meditative technique that is supposed to align your sound and breath with the vibration of creation.

I was watching High Society the other night, the Grace Kelly, Sinatra, Crosby version, even though I prefer the Katherine Hepburn original and this song has been stuck in my head ever since. I was singing it to my Mom tonight over the phone and she said that it was my grandparents song and that my grandpa used to say, "Come on Peg, let's sing our song," and that they would sing it to each other. So sweet and sad that I missed their doing that. They were old and grouchy by the time I was old enough to remember them. Okay so what if it's cornball, I love this song, and you should hear me sing it. Yeah, that's right. Hunh honey?

TRUE LOVE
Performed by BING CROSBY and GRACE KELLY

DEXTER and TRACY:

Sun-tanned, Wind-blown
Honeymooners at last alone.
Feeling far above par.
Oh, how lucky we are!
While

I give to you and you give to me,
True love, true love.
So on and on it'll always be,
True love, true love.
For you and I
Have a guardian angel on high,
With nothin' to do.
But to give to you and to give to me,
Love forever true.

For you and I
Have a guardian angel on high,
With nothin' to do.
But to give to you and to give to me,
Love forever true.
Love forever true.

High Society
Music: Cole Porter
Lyrics: Cole Porter

Oh and we won the first place award for our cuckoo Halloween Yard. I can hear the kids out there right now fooling around with the fog machines. We still have to put the flying bats up on the porch ceiling, and we got three more black lights for the graveyard. The best and craziest thing I bought though is this huge death guy sculpture and he is soooo cool. Oook gotta go.
